Last weekend I got to participate in Seattle’s first Wedding Preview Event. Unlike a traditional wedding show, teams of vendors worked together to actually put together a wedding, complete with a fake bride and groom! Under the direction of our team’s fabulous leader, Megan Keller from a Kurant Event, we set up a Day-of-the-Dead- inspired reception, filled with bright colors and ornate details.
For menus, escort cards, and other paper details, I created a colorful sugar scull and abstracted flower motif. I also cut patterned corners to create the feel of lace.
